Cancellation Policy
Course fees allow OCS to commit our staff and equipment resources for your program(s). We understand that life, the weather, and outdoor recreation can be unpredictable, and while we make every effort to see our programs run successfully, sometimes things get in the way. If OCS cancels a program for any reason, we will work to find an alternate solution or program that may fit your needs, or we can offer a refund.
Race Teams
If you cancel your Race Team registration for any given season, we can refund team dues based on the timeline outlined below:
If more than one week (five business days) before the first scheduled practice of the season: 100% of the fee is refundable or transferrable, minus a $10 administrative fee;
If less than one week (one to five business days) before the first scheduled practice of the season: 50% of the fee is refundable or transferrable, minus a $10 administrative fee;
OCS is unable to offer refunds for cancellations submitted the day of or after the first scheduled practice of the season.
Clinics & Regattas
If you cancel your clinic or regatta registration, we can refund your fees based on the timeline outlined below:
If more than two weeks (ten business days) before the start event: 80% of the fee is refundable or transferrable, minus a $20 administrative fee;
If less than two weeks but more than three days (three to nine business days) before the start of the event: 50% of the fee is refundable or transferrable, minus a $20 administrative fee;
OCS is unable to offer refunds for cancellations submitted within three days of or after the start of the event.
Summer Camps & Other Programs Where Registration is Run Through a Partner Organization
If registration for any OCS event, program, or camp/class is run through a partner organization, that partner organization’s cancellation, inclement weather, transfer, and/or other policy supersedes OCS’s policy.
