Junior Instructors

The Junior Instructor Program is a multi-week internship experience designed to bridge the gap between student and Instructor by developing leadership and sailing skills in youth ages 14-16.

This program is designed for sailors to participate for multiple weeks to get the most experience. By the end of the summer, Junior Instructors will have developed a solid foundation of boating and instructional skills that will help them succeed in becoming a certified Instructor.

The JI program is most effective for sailors that are self-motivated to learn leadership, communication, and instructional skills. Sailors will get out of the program what they put into it!

Application deadline: April 1st
